Missing Lorraine O’Neal

By now so many of you have heard the news; yesterday we lost a friend, a mother, a daughter, a dancer, a looker (better not forget that), a sarcastic, funny, fiercely loyal soul, Lorraine O’Neal.

I think she loved Century more than even me. I never saw her once, where she didn’t ask about Century, how it was going, and what the gossip was.

I am grateful that she allowed us to go on this long journey/fight with her. She inspired all of us. She reminded us that we have each other. She told us all that she couldn’t have done it without the love and support of each and everyone who held her in their thoughts, and I know she believed that.

Century will have another Dance Your Pants Off celebration of Life early next year. But if you want, join us this Wednesday 12/8, at the Wednesday night Swing dance – Jo Ann, Travis, and Tonya will be swinging it from the booth.

The family has asked that you share photos with me, and I’ll pass them on and also create another slide show for next year’s celebration.

For Lorraine’s family, we are sending you so much love.

Hugs and monkeys!

Love ALL OF US at Century.
