Join expert swing dance instructors Peter Flahiff and Lauren Smith for their world famous “Science of Social Dancing” workshop! This three-hour workshop will give dancers the creative agency to investigate how they like to move as individuals and in partnership, as well as learning the tools to be intentional about their movements and physical responses to music.
Prerequisites: Students must have a clear and comfortable understanding of and ability to execute swing outs and swing out variations at a range tempos. Students should be comfortable moving between 6-count and 8-count moves.
All students must have completed Intro to Swing or equivalent, Lindy 1 or equivalent, and at least one session of Lindy 2 or equivalent.
Peter & Lauren are two dynamic instructors with over forty years of teaching experience between them. Their elegant style and smooth dancing stands out wherever they go, and their enthusiasm for teaching has made them crowd favorites around the world.
